AN ANALYSIS OF AMERICAN CULTURE REPRESENTED IN A FILM: HOME SWEET HOME ALONE
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis budaya Amerika yang direpresentasikan dalam film berjudul Home Sweet Home Alone. Metode penelitian kualitatif adalah metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan observasi untuk menemukan budaya Amerika yang direpresentasikan dalam sebuah film. Film berjudul Home Sweet Home Alone merupakan versi keenam dan telah diluncurkan pada tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menemukan 5 budaya Amerika di dalam film tersebut, diantaranya; Gestur, Baju, Hubungan Keluarga, festival, dan etika makan.
