Penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah mengestimasi interval konfidensi untuk satu parameter distribusi eksponensial di bawah sensor tipe-II. Data yang digunakan ada- lah data waktu tunggu gempabumi besar di Indonesia. Distribusi eksponensial meru- pakan salah satu distribusi yang penting dalam analisis uji hidup. Yang membedakan analisis uji hidup dengan analisis statistik lainnya adalah adanya penyensoran. Da- lam penelitian ini sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor tipe-II.
